The Grand Hotel (also referred to as 'The White Palace') is an exquisite 5* Victorian hotel which was built in 1875 and the only 5* seaside hotel in England. Many great names have graced this hotel and enjoyed the amazing views over this impressive stretch of coastline, including Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin and the composer Debussy, who wrote his symphony 'La Mer' here in 1905.

The Mirabelle Restaurant, open from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes and offers a more modern, European menu (The restaurants do not operate a dress code, however most guests choose smart casual or formal wear).
