Saltus Spa has done this very thing, exposing views over the impressive landscape of the hotel and gardens, you are challenged to ‘reawaken your senses’ in one of their woodland themed rooms. Their facilities include an indoor and an outdoor pool, a fully equipped gym, six treatment rooms, Finnish sauna, and spa bath adjoining the indoor pool. Balmer Lawn Hotel also boasts a range of other activities, such as walking, cycling, horse riding, and mountain biking.
Their go-to product house is ESPA, and you can rest assured you will be well looked after in the capable hands of their friendly staff who are all trained in using the products. Treatments available at the spa are plentiful and include massages, facials, scalp treatments, aromatherapy, body wraps, detoxes, scrubs, foot treatments, and treatments specifically for men.
Hotel & Accommodation
Balmer Lawn Hotel was originally built as a hunting lodge in the mid 1800s, and to this day has stood as one of the most iconic buildings in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It is enveloped in 3 acres of rolling greenery and beautiful countryside; it’s tough not to get swept away in the history and magnificence of the hotel and its surroundings. Seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary, there are 54 rooms that range from those long-established décor and feel, to modern rooms complete with up to the minute sophistication.
The hotel prides itself on comfort and great service, and this applies both to the accommodation and the gastronomy. There is a AA Rosette restaurant available for the fine diners amongst us – Beresford. There is al fresco dining available in the summer, for those who fancy sitting out on the terrace and admiring their surroundings.
