A contemporary purpose built and adult-only destination spa, it opened its doors in 2017 and has continued to add to its exceptional features to stay at the forefront of luxury wellness destinations. This is a spa hotel where nothing is too much trouble and everything has been considered.

Within the grounds of Rudding Park is its beautiful spa experience that uses natural spring water from the grounds in many of its facilities. A destination in its own right, the spa is a feast of beautiful facilities and unique spa treatments. Set over three floors, guests can revel in the variety available, plenty for a full day of entertainment and wellness. The ground floor is where there are 11 treatment rooms where therapists deliver Elemis spa treatments. They also offer Jennifer Young spa treatments created specifically for the benefit of cancer patients. After treatments, guests can retreat to four relaxation lounges - one for chatting and relaxing with luxury look-books. One is darker and quieter, one lulls you to sleep under lights resembling the stars, and one is for groups with a variety of comfy seating areas. On the first floor you have unique experiences including Aufguss ceremonies with steam and essential oil in the saunas and a sunlight therapy room.

Along with the spa garden, there's an infinity pool, oxygen pod, Kneipp footbaths, saunas and steam rooms that use herbs from the garden. There’s even a Rooftop Spa Cabana that’s ideal for groups, with soft sofa seating for 14, a fire bowl, infrared heaters and electric louvred roof to allow sunlight in and automatic sensors to keep rain out. The final flourishes on the ground floor include an indoor swimming pool, Juniper log sauna, rasul, a shop, a make-up bar and nail salon, and a hairdresser. So you can arrive, have a full day of pampering and leave looking gorgeous at the end of the day.

  • Award-winning restaurants

Surrounded by 300 acres of parkland near Harrogate, Rudding Park is a spectacularly beautiful Regency hotel that has a reputation for excellence. A Grade One listed property, Rudding Park fuses contemporary design with traditional elegance and a warm, rich colour palette, not to mention the spectacular views. On the outskirts of picture-perfect Harrogate, one of the UK’s most famous spa towns, it is in an enviable location looking out onto 300 acres of parkland including two golf courses, a golf academy. With 90 rooms, it still has a sense of being a boutique hotel experience despite the vast size of the grounds and array of facilities. From one room to the next you are greeted with a fusion of modern soft furnishings that hint at bygone era - the 1920s perhaps - all sympathetically integrated into the exceptional country estate. It is the attention to detail however, that really makes you feel like royalty when you visit, bringing together the best of old and new in magnificent style.

The hotel has two restaurants in its midst. 3 AA Rosette winning Horto is known for its contemporary fine dining, delivering seasonal dishes with many ingredients from its own Kitchen Garden. It’s all served against a stylish modern backdrop with a 400 year old Catalonian olive tree taking centre stage in the conservatory.
