Blending spectacular indoor and outdoor environments, the spa at Rockliffe Hall is a really exceptional experience featuring contemporary, flawless design. With floor length windows enjoying views of the surrounding countryside, the opulent 50,000 square foot spa is a cacophony of pampering and leisure facilities with the style to match. There is a Hydropool as well as the 20-metre leisure pool, a thermal bathing suite complete with a tepidarium, salt steam room, roman and infrared saunas, tropicarium, and an igloo.

Outdoors there is a hot tub, decking and lounging areas as well as landscaped gardens with views across Rockliffe Hall’s grounds. The dedicated spa garden is an exclusive space comprising an outdoor infinity edge pool, warmed loungers, glass fronted sauna and sumptuous daybeds is run in pre-booked sessions throughout the day, with a maximum of 16 people at a time and no one under the age of 16. For those looking to be a little more active, there is also a gym, exercise studios, and Nordic walking in the grounds. Using NEOM Organics and [comfort zone] products for their array of face and body treatments, Rockliffe Hall is all about a luxurious experience combining results driven objectives and beautiful, high quality ingredients, as a result, they also have a dedicated mud rasul room, drawing on the principles of historic mud bathing practices and offering guests the chance to experience mud rasuls and profound relaxation sessions including the healing benefits of mineral-rich mud and the latest addition the Mind Therapy Room, a spa treatment for the brain or otherwise known as Rockliffe Hall’s answer to the power nap!

In 375 acres on the banks of the River Tees and dating back to 1774, Rockliffe Hall has quite a history, acting as a hospital and the backdrop for parts of Michael Caine’s 1971 film Get Carter. Today it is a five star hotel with 61 spacious rooms characterised by original features such as stained glass windows, marble pillars, and ornate ceilings alongside contemporary furnishings.

Whilst retaining its Gothic charm, the flagship Orangery restaurant has a walk-in wine cellar that’s home to thousands of bins from around the world. The resort also features the brand new restaurant, Nu Sana, located above the spa offering a new dining concept with healthy and nutritious menus (with a few indulgent options too!); or the informal Clubhouse restaurant offering popular and wholesome British classics whilst boasting stunning views across the world-class golf course.
