Spa & Leisure
Surrounded by such a classic landscape and architecture in the form of the main building, the juxtaposition of the glass-fronted spa is a surprise that really works.
The spa has all the facilities you could possibly want – Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, a pool, compact gym and five treatment rooms including one double treatment room. A particularly fun feature is the back lighting in each room which changes colour: you can choose a colour to suit your mood, or have it alternating at different speeds.

In around 100 acres, the Raithwaite Sandsend is a grand coastal retreat comprised of two hotels, a collection of quaint private stone cottages, an exclusive Lake House and a tranquil spa. The surrounds at Raithwaite Sandsend are a unique asset, so while each of the 72 rooms have something to offer, the most impressive are those with balconies and rolling garden panoramas. The rooms themselves are spacious, incredibly light and include tea and coffee, an iron, ironing board and a docking station, providing everything you need to settle in and feel at home.
Great food using locally sourced ingredients is high on the agenda here, with a choice of locations to dine in during your stay, you will not be disappointed with any you choose. The Brasserie in the Hall serves traditional French dishes with a Yorkshire twist and is the newest addition to the venue. Poachers Bar offers cosy surrounds to enjoy a light lunch or Afternoon Tea.
