Family Friendly
Children are welcome at the hotel and to use the pool and facilities, and have designated swimming times. Children’s Swim Times apply between 8:15am – 9:30am & 15:45pm –17:00pm. Spa Day’s at Bowood are not suitable for those under the age of 16yrs.

The venue is in the heart of Wiltshire, and all the verdant panoramas the Cotswolds has to offer. Please note that the gardens are closed between November and April, and are therefore not accessible by guests during those months.

Spa & Leisure
The spa at Bowood Hotel and Spa is all about understated elegance. There is a sauna and steam room, a café in the reception area, and four treatment rooms. There is also a pool, Jacuzzi and a gym almost entirely constructed of glass, which means that you swim, soak or cycle into the verdant green of the eighteen hole golf course outside.
The spa promotes harmony of mind, body and soul. Its luxury range of quality beauty treatments are performed by experienced therapists. From an express facial, to full body massages and holistic experiences, there is just the tonic for you. The spa also offers manicures, pedicures and even waxing for a quick beauty fix.
Hotel & Accommodation
In the grounds of the eighteenth century estate, the Bowood Hotel and Spa is a contemporary addition that fits elegantly into its historic setting. Inside it combines a modern palette of greys and jewel tones with the grandeur of huge swathes of fabric and enormous pelmets, and everything feels very open – even standard rooms have high ceilings, and lots of natural light. Bowood House and Gardens have been in the Landsdowne family for over 260 years, and their historic grounds are certainly a sight for sore eyes. Please note, however, that the House & Gardens are closed between November and April, therefore guests access to them is restricted at these times.
When it comes to dining, there is a café in the reception area which also extends outside in the summer months, serving a light menu and Dosha boxes which are tailored according to your aforementioned consultation form. For more formal meals there is also a restaurant in the hotel next to the bar – views naturally are of the golf course, which also has its own brasserie in the club house.
