You’ll be guided into a wooden sauna, before pulling the cord on an ice bucket drench. The contrast is a huge shock to the system: it awakens you like nothing else, leaving you feel refreshed and anew.

Bedruthan is a colourful four-star hotel perched on the Cornish clifftops. Opened in 1959, the hotel has always been about easy living: days spent carefree on the sand, nights spent together with good food. Rooms are inspired by that simple Scandi-modern style, with sea view rooms offering wide aspects over the big blue Atlantic.
The hotel houses two restaurants: the Wild Café and the more intimate Herring. The Wild Café serves sustainable, seasonal fare: bright summer salads, warm winter stews. The Herring carefully prepares Cornwall’s most precious produce, with the kitchen trying out more daring flavour combinations. If you’re looking for a tasty treat during your spa day, The Herring now serves Afternoon Tea – including sweet patisserie, traditional sandwiches and scones with clotted cream.
